The apartments offered by private owners are within a radius of 2 kilometres from the school. Most of them are next door to the owner, who may live in the same building or off the same courtyard.
|
|
The apartments are equipped with a fan or air-conditioner, mosquito net, TV, bathroom with shower, and kitchen or kitchenette (refrigerator, traditional or microwave oven, one or two hotplates, coffee maker, dishes for two). They have either a terrace or direct access to a garden.
|
|
Most of the apartments are large enough for two and have a sofa bed or additional bed for a second person. A limited number of apartments have two separate rooms, which are especially practical for families with children.
Bed and table linens are supplied by the owner and changed once a week, but students are expected to furnish their own towels.
Very few apartments have their own washing machine. There is a launderette (Laundromat) near the school.

All of these accommodations are essentially designed as places for sleeping at night rather than for living during the day. Also you will almost certainly find your accommodation to be smaller than expected.
-
Students must pay a security deposit of 150 euros in cash or traveller's cheques upon arrival. As long as no damage has been done, this is fully refundable at the end of the stay following a walk-through by the owner.
-
In order to guarantee the apartment of your choice, you are advised to book several months in advance, especially for stays during the high tourist season (from December to the end of March).
