Named Karukera or "Island of beautiful waters" by the Caraïbe Indians due to its numerous rivers and waterfalls, Guadeloupe is the perfect place for water sports, hiking or simply lazing around at the edge of a turquoise sea. Media Langues Caraïbes has a broad network of partners who offer our students preferential rates, particularly for such activities as deep-sea diving, kayaking, exploring the mangrove swamps, surfing, windsurfing, sailing and weekend minibus excursions on this butterfly shape island.

In addition, students can take part in Creole cooking classes, dance courses (salsa, traditional gwo-ka) or a sailing trip aboard a catamaran almost every weekend. Classes for learning to play the drum, which include making one's own instrument, can be organised on request.
