This course of 2 x 30 units (in two weeks) is designed for foreign teachers of French who are already working in their profession as well as for future teachers and is open to either individuals or closed groups. The workshop consists of classroom observation, discussion of teaching methods and explanation of grammar. The essential purpose of the workshop is to create teaching activities or documents based on selected elements of Creole and French cultures. These activities and documents are then tried out in our classrooms.

A SAMPLE OF A TWO WEEKS PROGRAMME : |
| Days 1 to 3 : |
| Introduction to the project. |
| Review of specific grammar points and vocabulary enhancement. |
| Workshop : "To analyse students' errors." |

Days 4 to 7 :
|
| Overview of various classroom activities and technics. |
|
Workshop : "How to use creativity based activities (games, tasks...) in the classroom to encourage conversation and the study of grammar and vocabulary.

| Days 8 to 10 : |
| Workshop : "To finalize and to test the project". Feed-back. |
| |
|
Class observations complement de Workshop. Furthermore weekly conferences and field trips give opportunity to each participant to enrich his/her knowledge of the French Creole culture.
